Fares

How ambulance fares work on IMR

IMR does not set prices. Nearby drivers send their own fare and you decide.

Drivers set their own fare

Each nearby driver sends the price they want for your trip, so you can compare before you choose.

Why fares differ

Distance to you, distance to the hospital, traffic, time of day and the type of ambulance can all change a driver’s price.

The accepted fare is locked

Once you accept a fare, it cannot be changed by the driver, by you or by IMR.

Pay the driver directly

You pay the accepted fare to the driver, usually in cash. IMR never asks you for money or card details.

If a driver asks for more

Do not pay more than the accepted fare. Report it through the Help page or our contact email; IMR can suspend the driver.

No ambulance available?

If no driver responds, the app shows emergency numbers. In a life-threatening emergency, call Rescue 1122.

Free and fair

IMR is free. You pay the fare you accepted directly to the driver, usually in cash. IMR takes no commission and receives no money.

Your accepted fare is locked

Once selected, nobody can change it.
